Templars is a national, Catholic parish-focused program that helps male teenagers discover their power to serve Christ, first at the altar, then as future husbands, fathers, and priests. We reach, mentor, and empower young Catholic men 14-18 years of age, guiding their work within the parish and instilling in them authentic Christian masculinity.
By partnering with parishes, we help launch a proven program created by a Catholic priest that establishes a parish fraternity focused on liturgical prayer, service, and leadership formation. Within the program itself, Templars draws its purpose and identity from the Work of the Order, a fourfold fraternal commitment to:
Foundational to the Work of the Order is the Templars Honor Code. All Brother Templars pledge to uphold the Honor Code and its four central elements: humility, fidelity, power and witness. The Honor Code can be found on page 13 of the Rule of the Order.
Your role - be it pastor, parochial vicar, lead confrère, etc. - is crucial. We can't do it without you. And you support will be vital throughout the launch process. Once the chapter is up and running you'll be able to take a step back and allow the Brother Templars to take the reins.
Now, please take a moment to ask for Our Lady's intercession by praying a Hail Mary. Offer it for all of the young men who will be invited to join the chapter, for the confrères who will generously give of their time, and for your bishop, that he may shepherd your diocese with courage and prudence.
Throughout the launch process, we'll provide you with downloads, templates, handouts, and anything else that you can possibly need to ensure your launch is successful.

The process of launching a Templars chapter is pretty straightforward. It begins with your "Yes" and ends with the "Yes" of the young men who will eventually lead the chapter as the chapter's officers. This platform is designed to guide you through every step, keeping track of your progress and ensuring your efforts are efficient as well as effective.
